VinFast Auto India has officially opened its first showroom in Surat, Gujarat, marking a significant step in the Vietnamese EV maker’s entry into the Indian market.
VinFast Makes its Debut in Surat
The new showroom, named VinFast Surat and operated by Chandan Car, spans 3,000 square feet. It proudly displays both of VinFast’s initial offerings for India: the compact VF6 and the larger VF7 electric SUVs.
This inauguration signals the beginning of VinFast’s ambitious expansion strategy across the country. Customers can now book their preferred EV directly at this new Surat location.
Expanding Across India
VinFast has outlined robust plans to rapidly grow its dealership network. By the end of 2025, the company aims to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities throughout India. This represents an increase of three outlets over their previously announced target from mid-July.
While physical bookings are now open at the Surat showroom, pre-bookings for the VF6 and VF7 had already commenced online on July 15, with an initial booking amount of Rs 21,000.
