BTS’ V has officially landed in Paris for Fashion Week, where he was spotted celebrating at a star-studded welcome party alongside actor Park Bo Gum, marking his exciting return to the spotlight since his military discharge.
V Lights Up Paris with Welcome Party
A video quickly went viral, showing the K-pop idol, also known as Taehyung, enjoying a lively welcome party in Paris. Decked out in Celine couture, V was seen grooving, lighting up sparklers, and singing along with staff and guests.
The atmosphere was electric, with champagne bottles popping and loud music filling the air. Fans were thrilled to see him dancing freely and celebrating his arrival as Celine’s global brand ambassador.
First Official Schedule Since Military Discharge
This appearance marks V’s first major official schedule since completing his military service last month. He was discharged along with fellow BTS members RM, Jungkook, and Jimin, and has quickly jumped back into both solo and group commitments.
Later, V was also seen leaving the venue with popular K-drama star Park Bo Gum, adding to the buzz around his Parisian visit.
A Warm (and Wild) Welcome from Fans
Upon his arrival in Paris, V was met by hundreds of fans outside his hotel, eager to catch a glimpse of the idol. His departure from Incheon International Airport on July 4th also drew an overwhelming crowd.
The crowd at the airport was so immense that his managers and bodyguards struggled to ensure his safety. At one point, a fan got too close, causing a chaotic moment where some individuals even fell.
V himself addressed the situation on Weverse, kindly reminding ARMYs, “You know that, right? It’s dangerous~ Let’s be safe next time~”
V’s Soaring Brand Value
Taehyung’s influence extends far beyond music, cementing his status as one of the richest K-pop idols with immense brand value. He was named Celine’s brand ambassador in 2023, just before his military enlistment.
His partnership with Celine has included multiple appearances as a cover model for ELLE Korea. Beyond Celine, V also represents luxury brand Cartier, fronting their Panthère de Cartier campaign.
Additionally, V is a brand ambassador for SimInvest and the South Korean tech giant Samsung, showcasing his diverse appeal across various industries.
Looking Ahead: BTS Group Comeback
While V embraces his solo activities and brand work, the larger picture for BTS fans is the highly anticipated full-group comeback. RM recently confirmed on a Weverse live that all seven members are preparing to release a new album next spring.
This upcoming release will mark the first full-group appearance in three years. RM emphasized that while members will continue their individual pursuits, the main focus will be on the group’s big return. Fans can expect fewer individual updates as they prioritize their collective project.
