Renowned director Pa Ranjith and three others have been booked by police following the tragic death of stunt performer S Mohan Raju during the filming of ‘Vettuvam’ in Nagapattinam.

Tragedy Strikes on ‘Vettuvam’ Set

A devastating accident occurred on Monday during the shooting of the film ‘Vettuvam’ in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district. Stunt performer S Mohan Raju, a veteran in the industry, tragically lost his life while performing a car toppling sequence.

They face charges under sections 289 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery), 125 (endangering life or personal safety of others), and 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the BNS Act.
