Mohit Suri’s romantic drama, Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has officially soared past the Rs 300 crore mark globally, marking another significant milestone in its impressive box office run.

Global Triumph: Crossing Rs 300 Crore

Just ten days after its release, Saiyaara has achieved a major global box office feat, exceeding Rs 300 crore worldwide. This remarkable figure includes a significant jump on its second Sunday, where it added another Rs 30 crore to its domestic collections.

The film had already crossed Rs 280 crore worldwide by Saturday, demonstrating consistent strong performance. This new milestone solidifies its position as a major cinematic success of the year.

Sustained Domestic Growth

On its tenth day, Saiyaara pulled in an impressive Rs 30 crore at the Indian box office. This marks a notable increase from its Day 9 collection of Rs 26.5 crore.

The film had previously struggled to cross the Rs 20 crore daily mark for a couple of days, making this rebound even more significant. The only other time Saiyaara earned more than Rs 30 crore in a single day was on its first Sunday (Day 3), when it raked in Rs 35.75 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the total domestic collection for Saiyaara now stands at Rs 247.25 crore. This places it ahead of several major films released this year, including Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 (Rs 198.41 crore), Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 (Rs 179.30 crore), and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 165.85 crore).

A Contender for Top Spot

Currently, Saiyaara holds the title of the second-highest grossing Hindi film of 2025. Its remarkable domestic collection is second only to Laxman Utekar’s period action film, Chaava, which has garnered an astounding Rs 615.39 crore.

While catching up to Chaava’s record remains a significant challenge, Saiyaara’s sustained performance has certainly made it a strong contender. However, the film faces fresh competition this coming Friday with the release of Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri-starrer Dhadak 2, which could impact its future earnings.

New Stars and Industry Support

Saiyaara marks the highly anticipated debut of Ahaan Panday, cousin to actor Ananya Panday. It also features Aneet Padda in her first lead role, following her impressive performance in the Prime Video India series “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

The film, produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, also introduces YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani as a producer. Its official logline describes a passionate love story navigating both euphoric highs and crushing lows.

The success of Saiyaara has garnered significant praise from Bollywood’s elite. Aamir Khan extended his congratulations, praising Ahaan and Aneet’s debut performances and Mohit Suri’s direction. Industry heavyweights like Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar have also lauded the film’s success, highlighting its impact on audiences and the industry.

  • Saiyaara has surpassed Rs 300 crore in worldwide box office collections.
  • Its second Sunday domestic collection was Rs 30 crore, contributing to an India total of Rs 247.25 crore.
  • The film is currently the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025.

As Saiyaara continues its run, all eyes will be on how it navigates the upcoming box office battles and further solidifies its place in 2025’s cinematic landscape.
