Renault has launched the updated Triber facelift in India, bringing the popular compact MPV its first significant refresh in six years.
The Refreshed Triber: What’s New?
The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is now available, with prices ranging from Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom). This update introduces a variant-wise price increase, ranging from Rs 14,000 to Rs 41,000, reflecting the various enhancements.
This refresh focuses on cosmetic changes and new features, giving the Triber a modern touch while maintaining its core appeal. Renault has also revised the variant nomenclature for easier understanding.
Exterior Makeover: A Fresh Look
The most noticeable changes are at the front. The Triber now sports a thoroughly redesigned fascia, complete with reprofiled headlamps and new LED DRLs. It also features a slimmer gloss-black grille with distinctive diagonal slats and an updated bumper with a larger air intake and restyled fog lamps.
A significant highlight is the debut of Renault’s new retro-inspired diamond logo on an India-specific model. Moving to the side, updates are subtle, including redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels and new gloss black door handles. At the rear, a blacked-out trim now connects the smoked LED tail-lights, and the new Renault diamond motif replaces the previous ‘TRIBER’ lettering, which has been relocated lower on the tailgate.
Under the Hood: Familiar Performance
Underneath its refreshed exterior, the 2025 Triber facelift retains its familiar powertrain. It continues to be powered by Renault’s 1-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing a modest 72hp and 96Nm of torque. This engine is also E20-compatible, aligning with modern fuel standards.
Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT (automated manual transmission) for added convenience. For those seeking alternative fuel options, CNG retrofitment is available for the manual transmission models, backed by a 3-year warranty.
