Jeep has rolled out new ‘Trail Edition’ variants for its popular Compass and Meridian SUVs, bringing a rugged new look, refreshed interiors, and added benefits for buyers.
Get Ready to Hit the Trail with New Editions
Jeep is upping its game by introducing special Trail Edition variants for both the Compass and Meridian. These limited-run models focus on enhancing the SUVs’ adventurous spirit with distinctive cosmetic updates, inside and out.
Beyond the fresh styling, Jeep is also sweetening the deal. Buyers of these Trail Editions can look forward to additional aftersales benefits and even cash discounts, making them an attractive package for off-road enthusiasts and style-conscious drivers alike.
Jeep Compass Trail Edition: What’s New?
The Compass Trail Edition is based on the mid-spec Longitude (O) variant but adds a host of unique touches. Externally, you’ll spot matte black accents on the grille, eye-catching decals on the bonnet and front doors, and a grey finish on the badges, ORVMs, roof rails, and rear bumper.
A sporty red lower lip on the front bumper and newly designed dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels complete the rugged exterior. You can choose from four vibrant color options: Exotica Red, Brilliant Black, Pearl White, and Grigio Magnesio (grey).
Step inside, and the adventurous theme continues. The cabin boasts black leatherette upholstery with striking red highlights across the dashboard, steering wheel, gear knob, and seats. A unique ‘Dark Camouflage’ graphic adorns the dashboard, complemented by Trail Edition-branded all-weather floor mats.
Standard features from the Longitude (O) variant are retained, including a dual-pane sunroof, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and dual-zone climate control. The Compass Trail Edition is available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
Pricing and Perks for Compass Trail Edition
The Compass Trail Edition is priced from Rs 25.41 lakh for the manual and Rs 27.41 lakh for the automatic variant. This makes it Rs 58,000 more expensive than the Longitude (O) on which it’s based.
As a special offer, buyers will receive a complimentary 3-year annual maintenance contract, a 5-year extended warranty pack, and a direct Rs 20,000 cash discount.
Jeep Meridian Trail Edition: Elevated Adventure
The Meridian Trail Edition builds on the features of the Limited (O) variant, sharing similar Trail Edition decals and badges as its Compass sibling. It also gets a sleek black roof and matching grey and black highlights on the ORVMs, grille, headlight surrounds, and rear bumper, along with a red accent on the front bumper.
The interior of the Meridian Trail Edition features black vinyl upholstery with red accents, a camouflage applique on the dashboard, and a sophisticated piano black finish for the centre console and speaker surrounds.
Under the hood, it retains the powerful 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine. You can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Importantly, the Meridian Trail Edition is also available with a 4×4 drivetrain option, perfect for more challenging terrains.
Pricing and Benefits for Meridian Trail Edition
The Meridian Trail Edition is priced between Rs 31.27 lakh and Rs 37.27 lakh. This variant is Rs 48,000 more expensive than the Limited (O) it’s derived from. Buyers of this limited edition Meridian also receive a complimentary 3-year annual maintenance contract.
