Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) has announced significant price reductions on two of its popular models: the Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser and the Zontes 350X sport tourer.
Big Price Drops for Keeway and Zontes Bikes
Motorcycle enthusiasts in India have something to cheer about as AARI slashes prices on select models. These reductions aim to make these Chinese-owned brands more accessible to a wider audience.
The price cuts are substantial, with the Zontes 350X seeing its second reduction and the Keeway K-Light 250V getting a massive discount for the first time.
Zontes 350X Gets a Double Discount
The Zontes 350X sport tourer has seen its price drop for the second time since its launch in late 2022. Initially priced at Rs 3.45 lakh, the bike first received a Rs 46,000 price cut in January 2024.
Now, AARI has announced an even bigger reduction of Rs 59,000. This brings the new ex-showroom price down to an attractive Rs 2.40 lakh. In total, the Zontes 350X has become Rs 1.05 lakh cheaper since its debut.
Keeway K-Light 250V Now More Affordable
The Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser also gets a significant price cut, marking its first reduction. This V-twin cruiser now sees its price drop by a substantial Rs 71,000.
Its new ex-showroom price is Rs 2.49 lakh, making it a more competitive option in the quarter-litre cruiser segment. This move aims to boost its appeal to riders looking for a stylish and powerful cruiser.
Why the Price Cuts?
While AARI has not officially stated the reason for these price revisions, industry observers believe that sluggish sales of these models are the primary factor. Lowering prices can often stimulate demand and help clear existing inventory.
These strategic price adjustments could indicate a shift in AARI’s market approach for its imported brands, aiming for higher sales volumes in the competitive Indian motorcycle market.
