Veteran actor Ashok Saraf recently shared fond memories of working with Shah Rukh Khan on the 1997 film ‘Yes Boss,’ highlighting the superstar’s remarkable work ethic and dedication.

A Memorable Collaboration on ‘Yes Boss’

Ashok Saraf, who co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan in the beloved romantic comedy ‘Yes Boss,’ remembers their time together fondly. One particular scene that stands out is the filming of the iconic song “Chaand Taare,” where SRK’s infectious enthusiasm shone through.

Interestingly, sharp-eyed fans have noted that parts of the song were even filmed near the building that would later become Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s famous Mumbai residence, just four years after the movie’s release.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Unmatched Dedication

Saraf emphasized that Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom isn’t by chance, attributing it to his relentless hard work. “There’s no one as hardworking in the industry as him,” Saraf told Radio Nasha, explaining that SRK constantly seeks ways to improve his performance and leaves no stone unturned.

Embracing Suggestions for Perfection

One anecdote from the ‘Yes Boss’ set perfectly illustrates SRK’s commitment. Saraf recalled suggesting a different approach for a scene, and Shah Rukh immediately agreed to rehearse. “He rehearsed so many times! He didn’t let it go till the scene was perfect,” Saraf shared.

Unlike many actors who might resist re-doing scenes, SRK was open and eager to experiment, always striving for the best possible outcome. Saraf also praised him as a genuinely good person.

An Unstoppable Force of Energy

Beyond his dedication, Shah Rukh Khan’s boundless energy also impressed Saraf. “He has so much energy that he never stops. He never gets tired,” Saraf remarked, noting this trait as particularly significant and a key factor in SRK’s enduring success.

Saraf expressed his admiration, stating, “Others should learn this from him. That’s why he’s reached where he is today. I’m really fond of him.”

Echoes of Praise from the Industry

Ashok Saraf isn’t alone in commending Shah Rukh Khan’s work ethic. Karisma Kapoor, his co-star from ‘Dil To Pagal Hai,’ once described him as “hardworking” compared to Salman Khan’s fun nature or Aamir Khan’s perfectionism.

Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who directed SRK in the ‘Don’ franchise, also revealed last year that Shah Rukh tends to get “obsessed” with his projects, a testament to his deep involvement and commitment to his craft.

  • Shah Rukh Khan is renowned for his exceptional hard work and dedication.
  • He is always open to suggestions and rehearses tirelessly to perfect scenes.
  • His boundless energy is a significant factor in his sustained success in the industry.

These anecdotes from fellow actors underscore the consistent commitment that has defined Shah Rukh Khan’s illustrious career.
