Tanishk Bagchi, the mind behind Saiyaara’s popular title track, recalls meeting Ahaan Panday for the first time during the song’s recording at Yash Raj Films. He was immediately struck by Ahaan’s humble demeanor.
Bagchi noted that Ahaan lacked the typical “tantrums or attitude” often associated with actors. He also sensed Ahaan’s strong energy and presence, even before witnessing his full acting skills.
A Hunch for Stardom
Bagchi shared that he had a strong intuition about Ahaan and Aneet’s future success. He told them he believed they would become “very big stars.”
He also offered them a crucial piece of advice: to remain grounded and remember their origins once they achieve fame. Bagchi emphasized seeing many individuals rise quickly only to fall due to changing attitudes.
Mohit Suri’s Guidance and Ahaan’s Performance
After watching Saiyaara, Bagchi was impressed by Ahaan’s performance, noting how he perfectly followed director Mohit Suri’s guidance. He believes both Ahaan and Aneet possess a natural talent, calling them “innocent kids.”
Bagchi advised them to maintain their innocence and continue working hard, acknowledging their luck in having Mohit Suri as a mentor for their debut film.

Bagchi was particularly pleased with how the music fit Ahaan Panday’s on-screen presence. He observed Ahaan seamlessly performing musical sequences, comparing his natural ability to the late Rishi Kapoor.
