TVS has launched the updated Apache RTR 310, bringing a host of new features and refined performance to its popular naked sportbike, with prices starting at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
TVS Apache RTR 310: More Than Just an Update
The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 retains its powerful 35.6hp and 28.7Nm engine. However, TVS has subtly recalibrated the motor, making its responsiveness more precise and linear across throttle inputs and gear selections. This ensures a smoother yet still punchy ride experience.
A significant mechanical change is the adoption of the same rear sprocket as the Apache RR 310. This was previously a 4-tooth larger sprocket on the naked version. This adjustment, combined with the refined engine tuning, aims for a more optimized power delivery.
Advanced Tech and Rider Aids
The updated RTR 310 is packed with advanced tech. It now features Drag Torque Control, a system that prevents rear-wheel slip during engine braking and aggressive downshifts, working seamlessly with the slip/assist clutch. This adds a crucial layer of safety and control for riders.
For the first time on a made-in-India bike, the Apache RTR 310 offers keyless ignition as an option. Riders can also opt for launch control, which automatically sets the engine speed at 7,250rpm for optimal acceleration. These new features complement an already impressive suite, including cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, switchable traction control, and ABS.
Visual Tweaks and New Color
While the Apache RTR 310’s sharp and aggressive design remains largely unchanged, it gets some cool aesthetic enhancements. Standard equipment now includes an uber-cool transparent clutch cover, adding a premium touch, along with practical knuckle guards and modern sequential turn signals.
In terms of color options, a vibrant Fiery Red joins the existing Arsenal Black, Fury Yellow, and Sepang Blue choices, offering more personalization for riders.
Pricing and Built To Order (BTO) Options
The base TVS Apache RTR 310 starts at Rs 2.40 lakh and is available only in black. This variant is still well-equipped with features like traction control, cruise control, drag torque control, and rear-wheel lift mitigation.
Stepping up, the top variant is priced at Rs 2.57 lakh and includes a bidirectional quickshifter. This version is available in both Fiery Red and Fury Yellow.
TVS also offers two optional Built To Order (BTO) kits for further customization. The Dynamic kit, priced at Rs 18,000, adds fully adjustable suspension at both ends, a durable brass-coated chain, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The Dynamic Pro kit, costing Rs 28,000, takes the electronics a step further. It includes keyless ignition, launch control, and makes all riding aids lean-sensitive, providing a truly comprehensive and performance-oriented package.
Opting for a fully specced Apache RTR 310 with both Dynamic kits will bring the price to Rs 3.03 lakh. Currently, TVS is running an introductory offer that shaves Rs 10,000 off the price of the base and top variants.
