Born in 1994, Kang Seo Ha was a graduate of the prestigious Korea National University of Arts’ School of Drama. She first stepped into the spotlight with her appearance in Brave Guys’ music video “Getting Farther Away,” earning critical attention.

Her career truly took off with the K-drama “First Love Again,” which served as her breakthrough role. She went on to feature in several beloved series, including “The Flower in Prison,” “Through the Waves,” “Assembly,” and “Heart Surgeons.”

In 2023, she embarked on a new chapter, signing with Insight MCN, an agency formed from the merger of Insight Entertainment and Showtime Crew.

Her Final Project

Before her untimely death, Kang Seo Ha completed filming for her final project, a film titled “Mangnaein” (English title: “In the Net”). She starred alongside “Squid Game” actress Park Gyu Young and “When Life Gives You Tangerines” actor Kim Seon Ho.

The film, directed by Kim Jee Woon and Park Bo Ram, tells the story of a woman grappling with the tragic death of her younger sibling, who was a victim of an online witch-hunt. The protagonist hires a hacker to uncover the truth behind her sister’s passing.

“Mangnaein” is currently scheduled for release in the second half of this year, offering fans a final opportunity to see her talent on screen.

Funeral Arrangements

The funeral service for Kang Seo Ha is set to be held at Room 8 of the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in Banpo Dong. The official ceremony is scheduled for 7:40 AM on July 16.

Following the cremation at Seoul Memorial Park, her final resting place will be in her hometown of Haman, South Gyeongsang Province.
