The highly anticipated Range Rover SV Black Edition has officially debuted, marking the third all-black SUV in the brand’s lineup, following the Defender Octa and Range Rover Sport SV Black.

Stealthy Design, Inside and Out

This new SV Black Edition wraps Range Rover’s flagship SUV in a truly distinct aesthetic. It features the exclusive Narvik Gloss Black paint, described by the British marque as their “darkest and stealthiest” ever. Complementing this striking exterior are blacked-out logos, front grilles, large 23-inch alloy wheels, and brake calipers, all contributing to its sleek, monochromatic look.

Inside, the theme continues with luxurious ebony leather upholstery. The seats boast unique diagonal stitching patterns on their upper half, adding a touch of bespoke craftsmanship. Further elevating the cabin are black birch wood veneers and a sophisticated satin-black ceramic finish for the gearshift lever, reinforcing the exclusive feel.

Experience Sound Like Never Before

A notable upgrade for all SV trims, including this Black Edition, is the standard inclusion of the Body-and-Soul Seat (BASS) and Sensory Floor systems. These innovative features use transducers embedded directly within the seats and floor.

The system creates vibrations that synchronize with the audio playing through the sound system. This allows occupants to literally “feel the music,” transforming the listening experience into a full-body sensation. The Range Rover SV Black Edition will be available in both a five-seater standard wheelbase and a versatile four or five-seat long-wheelbase configuration.

Unleashing V8 Power

Under the hood, the Range Rover SV Black Edition packs serious power. It retains the potent BMW-sourced 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, known for its robust performance. This engine is paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission, channeling power to all four wheels.

The V8 delivers an impressive 615 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. This raw power allows the luxury SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 kph in a mere 4.5 seconds, showcasing its blend of opulence and exhilarating performance.
