Actor Parag Tyagi has shared a deeply emotional tribute to his late wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, who recently passed away at the age of 42.
An Eternal Love Story
The sudden demise of Shefali Jariwala on June 27 at her Mumbai residence sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and left her loved ones heartbroken. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, has been openly expressing his grief and profound love for her.
In a poignant video compilation of their cherished memories, Parag shared a powerful message dedicated to Shefali. He vowed, “Pari, I will find you every time you are born, and I will love you in every lifetime. I love you eternally, meri gundi, meri chokri…”
More Than a Star: Shefali’s True Self
Days before sharing the video, Parag penned an extensive note, offering a beautiful ode to his beloved wife. He revealed that Shefali, famously known as the “Kaanta Laga girl,” was far more complex and remarkable than her public persona suggested.
He described her as “fire wrapped in grace” — a woman who was sharp, focused, and intensely driven. She lived with intention, diligently nurturing her career, intellect, body, and soul with quiet strength and unwavering determination.
The Heart of “Sab Ki Maa”
Beyond her achievements, Parag emphasized that Shefali embodied love in its most selfless form. He lovingly called her “sab ki maa,” highlighting her innate ability to always put others first, offering comfort and warmth through her mere presence.
She was a generous daughter, a devoted and affectionate wife, and a wonderful mother to their pet, Simba. Shefali also acted as a protective and guiding sister and maasi (aunt), and a fiercely loyal friend who stood by those she loved with courage and compassion.
A Legacy of Light
In the midst of his profound grief, Parag urged that Shefali be remembered by her luminous spirit. He wished for her legacy to be defined by the joy she sparked, the lives she uplifted, and the way she made people feel.
He expressed a heartfelt prayer for spaces dedicated to her memory to be filled only with love, healing memories, and stories that keep her vibrant spirit alive. “A soul so radiant, she will never, ever be forgotten. Love you till eternity!” he concluded.
