Specifically, there was a 10.19 percent drop in registrations when compared to the figures from the previous year.” Before this unsettling event, approximately 2.36 lakh devotees had already registered, eager to undertake the holy pilgrimage.

Vulnerable sections of the track have been fortified with strategically placed barriers, mitigating potential risks. Pilgrims are welcome to travel in their private vehicles but are strongly advised to join the coordinated yatra convoy originating from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp for enhanced security and streamlined movement.
