Actor Gauahar Khan recently shared how she rapidly lost 10 kgs in just 10 days after her son Zehaan’s birth, attributing it to a strict diet of ‘leaves and soups’ to prepare for her television comeback.

Gauahar Khan, who welcomed her son Zehaan in May 2023 with husband Zaid Darbar, quickly returned to co-hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11. She felt it was important to look her best on screen, driving her post-pregnancy weight loss journey.

During an appearance on The Debina Bonnerjee Show, Gauahar explained her initial approach. For the first six months postpartum, she prioritised breastfeeding and ate normally, ensuring she consumed enough carbohydrates, fats, and proteins for her baby.

After six months, Gauahar decided to wean Zehaan off breast milk. This marked a significant turning point in her diet. She adopted an “only salad and soup” regimen, describing it as “zipping her mouth.”
