Renault has officially launched the 2025 Triber in India, bringing a much-anticipated update to the popular compact MPV with fresh looks, new features, and enhanced safety.

A Fresh Look for the Popular MPV

After six years since its initial launch, the Renault Triber gets a significant makeover. On the outside, you’ll notice a refreshed design featuring a sleek gloss black grille and revamped headlight clusters that now include integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).

The front bumper has also been reworked for a more modern appearance. While the overall silhouette of the car remains familiar, the new 15-inch flex wheels are a clever addition, designed to look like alloy wheels.

Around the back, the changes continue with smoked LED tail lights, a stylish central black strip, and prominent ‘Triber’ lettering on the boot lid. The updated model also proudly sports Renault’s latest diamond logo, completing its contemporary appeal.

Stepping Inside: Modern Tech and Comfort

Inside the spacious three-row MPV, the dual-tone dashboard layout remains, but it’s now home to some exciting upgrades. A new eight-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system takes center stage, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration.

Further enhancements include a crisp LED instrument cluster and improved LED cabin lighting, contributing to a more premium feel. New seat upholstery also adds to the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the interior.

Enhanced Safety Features Across the Board

Safety has received a major boost in the 2025 Triber. It now comes standard with six airbags across all four variants, a significant upgrade for passenger protection. Other crucial safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist.

Renault has also introduced front parking sensors, a segment-first feature, making parking and maneuvering in tight spots much easier and safer.

Powertrain Options for Every Drive

Under the hood, the Renault Triber continues to be powered by its reliable 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. This efficient mill delivers 71bhp of power and 96Nm of torque, suitable for city commutes and highway cruising.

Buyers have the flexibility to choose between a five-speed manual transmission or a convenient five-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) system. For those looking for an even more economical option, a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit is also available.

  • Four new variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion.
  • Six airbags, ESP, TPMS, and EBD with Brake Assist are now standard across all models.
  • Introduces segment-first front parking sensors.
  • Available with a factory-fitted CNG option.

The updated Triber aims to solidify its position as a versatile and value-for-money option in the Indian automotive market, offering a compelling blend of space, features, and safety.
